“Before meeting Patti I was skeptical. I have lived with a phobia of fruit all my life. I couldn't sit in the same room as someone eating certain fruits because it repulsed me to the point that I’d feel nauseous. I tried therapy before with two other hypnotherapists but to no avail. Patti was very different, however, and on meeting her I was immediately won over. Not only is she a very skilled practitioner, but her belief in her therapy quickly rubs off on you. “I have suffered from a dog phobia for 20 years. I had just one session and found it a very relaxed and informative experience. Patti took the time to explain the science behind the techniques as she recognised that would put me at ease and make me more receptive. Most importantly she was totally non-judgemental and genuinely interested. After the session I noticed an immediate change in my reaction to dogs. Previously I would feel in an extreme state of anxiety if I was near a dog, but I immediately felt calmer and more in control of these situations and did not have the same sickening physical reaction as before! My best friend could not believe my behaviour around 2 massive dogs the other day! I went straight up to them and let my baby play with them (they weren't on leads!) my friend was dumbfounded! The change is pretty dramatic. Patti also had some take home techniques to use if I find myself near a dog and I've found it so useful having these.”
