About Me
Background:
Before I began retraining as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2015, I worked in Market Research and Advertising for almost 10 years. So I understand the pressures of working life, and as a mum, I also know the challenges (and joys) of family life. My previous career cultivated my natural interest in Psychology and in creating behaviour change and those interests drew me to become a Therapist and Coach.
Qualifications:
I qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis, on one of the UK’s most rigorous Hypnotherapy courses. Additionally, I sought out world-renowned therapists to teach me the most effective therapies. To that end, I was trained and certified by the creator of Rapid Transformational Therapy®, Marisa Peer, and in Neuro-linguistic Programming® with the co-creator of NLP, Richard Bandler. I am also a Certified Practitioner of Havening Techniques®, a trauma therapy created by a pioneering neurobiologist, Dr Ronald Ruden, and of which Paul McKenna is a fellow practitioner.
In order to fully support my clients to not just overcome their career demons, but go from good to great in their professional lives, I gained my International Coaching Federation-approved Diploma in Transformational Coaching at the progressive Animas Centre for Coaching.
Passions:
I am passionate about helping parents to overcome Postnatal issues, which can make an already incredibly challenging moment in life feel impossibly hard and miserable. The ripple effect of addressing these issues early benefits parents, their children, and their collective futures. Find out more here.
I am deeply concerned about the climate emergency and how much change needs to occur rapidly in order to reduce the chances of ecological, and consequently, social collapse. One of the ways in which I contribute to driving positive change is by providing free Coaching for committed climate emergency activists. Find out more here.
